Last October 26, 2015 SOM week has officially started. Of course I'm excited for the activities but unfortunately I wasn't able to participate in any but I cheered for my friends who participated in the events especially in volleyball because most of the members of MA team are my closest friends in Asia Pacific College.
Having a SOM week is important so that students could relax for a week with no home works to do and just enjoy the week with their friends. Many lessons can be learned with this kind of project for example being fair in a game no cheating, having sportmanship and willing to accept defeats. Camaraderie can be learned also, working with your blockmates or teammates. You're united as one that's why you can win the game but not all team who are united win the game it means that they have to exert more effort and work harder to win the game.
I hope the school will maintain this kind of activity for the students. And will have more activities in the near future. I'm looking forward to it.
